FUNDING AGENCIES
Lookout for Orphans
Lookout For Orphans is a community of believers on Lookout Mountain seeking to promote, celebrate, and nurture adopted children of every race and nationality. Our strategy is to:
PRAY. The use of fervent prayer to connect believing families to children who do not have a permanent home.
PROMOTE. The use of prayerful communication to bring the critical need for adoption to the heart of potential families.
PROVIDE. Financial support may occur during and/or after the adoption process. This financial support may be delivered in various forms depending on a specific need. If you are interested in receiving financial assistance for your adoption, please email carleehilger@gmail.com to request an application.
Both Hands Foundation
Both Hands mission is “to serve orphans, widows and adoptive families.” Our purpose is to help people raise funds for orphans while serving widows through home improvement projects.
Abba Fund

Helps with “up front” fees before they choose an agency, a country, or even received approval.
Sonscope Adoption Fund (SAF) was established with the goal that no family would be prevented from adopting due to adoption expenses. SAF is unique because we do not require a homestudy to be completed prior to application. We discovered that many families felt led to adopt but were daunted by the fees required “up front,” before they chose an agency, a country, or even received approval. Sonscope Adoption Fund wants to help families make the important first decision to step onto the path of adoption. We look at it as the “Ready, Set” step, preparing them for the blessed “Go!” And if God does not give the “Go,” then the funds remain at SAF for another family.
